Marketing & Werbung

Observe public campaign surfaces with capture context intact.

Observe paid search placements, SERP visibility, creative variants, affiliate paths, public posts, and competitor messaging across defined capture contexts for media operations, brand, compliance, and growth teams.

  1. 01Define the campaign question

Sources, markets, devices, queries, creative references, and permitted interactions.

  2. 02Inspect the observation

Placement, creative, destination, context, artifact, and explicit missing states.

  3. 03Choose the operating boundary

Infrastructure, API access, scheduled evidence, or a managed program.

Decision coverage

Campaign teams need placement evidence with context and limits.

Public campaign data supports comparison and review. First-party media systems remain the source for spend, impressions, conversions, revenue, and campaign truth.

01

Media & ad operations

Confirm what appeared in the agreed context.

Was the expected campaign observed in the requested placement, market, device, language, and flight window?

  • Publisher, page and slot

  • Geo, device and capture time

  • Creative reference and artifact

02

Paid growth & search

See the market behind every query.

Which paid and organic results, brands, features, and destinations appear across priority engines, markets, languages, and devices?

  • Query, engine and market

  • Sponsored state and position

  • Copy, link and landing domain

03

Competitive & creative intelligence

Track the messages competitors put into market.

Which creatives, offers, claims, calls to action, and landing pages appear across priority public surfaces—and how do they change?

  • Advertiser and brand cues

  • Visible text, asset and CTA

  • First seen, last seen and context

04

Social & audience insight

Follow public signals without inventing audience truth.

Which public posts, creators, topics, mentions, and visible engagement signals surround a brand, product, or campaign?

  • Public profile or post

  • Topic, hashtag and mention

  • Visible counters and timestamp

05

Affiliate, brand & reputation

Keep partner representation reviewable.

Do observed placements, disclosures, claims, links, and destinations correspond to the partner references and rules your team supplies?

  • Publisher or partner identity

  • Disclosure and claim text

  • Configured link and final host

06

Insights, BI & data products

Unify observations without losing provenance.

How can external campaign evidence join first-party reporting, research, or modeling while keeping source and capture context intact?

  • Source URL and captured time

  • Match and quality state

  • Schema and artifact reference

Public-channel coverage

Define the campaign market as a capture matrix.

Name the public sources, page objects, queries, markets, devices, languages, fields, interaction limits, and cadence. Coverage is validated per source—not implied across every channel.

Inspectable observation contract

Keep the creative, placement, context, path, and evidence together.

A campaign observation is useful only when a reviewer can see what was requested, what appeared, how it was identified, where it linked, when it was captured, and which parts remain unresolved.

01 · Source & context

Where was the observation made?

Source type, page URL, publisher or platform, query, market, language, device, viewport, requested profile, and captured time.

02 · Campaign object

What appeared publicly?

Advertiser, customer-supplied campaign reference, visible headline, description, CTA, asset URL or hash, sponsored label, placement, and position.

03 · Destination & identity

How was it reconciled?

Displayed URL, configured link, approved redirect evidence, final host, brand or partner reference, identity cues, and match state.

04 · Evidence & quality

Can the comparison be reviewed?

Artifact reference, observed state, missing or failure reason, first and last seen, changed fields, interaction policy, and schema version.

Placement-to-destination evidence chain

Follow the public campaign object without turning evidence into attribution.

Anchor every capture in a defined context. Reconcile the visible creative against customer-supplied campaign truth, preserve the configured path, and append change states without inventing media outcomes.

  1. 01

    Fix the capture context

Name the source, page or query, market, device, language, time window, and permitted interaction.

  2. 02

    Identify the observed unit

Preserve placement, sponsored label, visible copy, asset cues, advertiser, artifact, and customer reference.

  3. 03

    Inspect the configured path

Keep displayed URL, exposed link, approved redirect evidence, and final host distinct from a conversion journey.

  4. 04

    Append explicit change states

Retain observed, different, not observed, unavailable, failed, unresolved, and destination-changed states over time.

A placement or path observation does not establish reach, human viewability, campaign performance, conversion, attribution, fraud, brand safety, or legal compliance. Those determinations remain downstream.

Quality & inference boundary

Separate collection health from campaign meaning.

Keep observed, different, not observed, unavailable, and failed captures in different states. A gap in one context must never become an invented delivery, fraud, or performance conclusion.

Observed

Requested object evaluated

The public source returned and the agreed creative, placement, or result fields were assessed.

Changed

A visible field differed

The changed copy, asset, placement, or destination is retained with evidence for review.

Nicht beobachtet

Expected object was not found

This does not prove campaign delivery failure, suppression, or targeting error.

Failed

Collection did not complete

No campaign, attribution, fraud, audience, or compliance meaning follows from a failed capture.

Your team determines

Performance, attribution and action

Media effectiveness, spend, reach, conversions, attribution, fraud determination, compliance, enforcement, and campaign decisions.

Four operating models

Choose how campaign evidence becomes a maintained workflow.

Each model separates WSA-operated collection and delivery from your campaign truth, privacy and rights approval, attribution, media interpretation, fraud or compliance determinations, and downstream action.

Infrastructure for your collectors

Run your campaign-observation stack through proxy infrastructure.

WebScrapingAPI operates the contracted proxy-network features. Your team owns capture profiles, collectors, browsers, extraction, creative identity, destination logic, schedules, quality, history, storage, and campaign decisions.

Representative campaign pilot

Validate one complete campaign question before scaling the matrix.

Start with representative sources, markets, devices, creatives, and destination paths. Include expected, different, missing, unavailable, unresolved, and failed states—not only successful captures.

  1. 01 · Frame

    Define the campaign question

Choose sources, page objects, queries, markets, devices, campaign truth, interaction limits, fields, cadence, artifacts, and destination.

  2. 02 · Sample

    Capture representative states

Include observed placements, creative variants, destination changes, not-observed results, unavailable pages, identity ambiguity, and failures.

  3. 03 · Validate

    Agree the evidence contract

Review context, identifiers, comparison cues, path evidence, artifacts, history, quality states, rights, and acceptance rules.

  4. 04 · Operate

    Launch the right handoff

Assign collection and maintenance ownership, connect delivery, monitor evidence quality, and preserve downstream decision controls.

A pilot validates technical capture and the evidence contract—not campaign performance, attribution, fraud, viewability, or compliance.

Evaluation questions

What marketing and advertising teams should confirm before collection.

Sources, capture profiles, fields, interaction limits, artifacts, interpretation, rights, freshness, maintenance, and operating ownership—answered directly.

Review product documentation

Which marketing and advertising sources can be covered?

Documented search endpoints and eligible public webpages can be included. Publisher, advertiser, affiliate, social, app, marketplace, and public ad-library feasibility is validated by source, page type, context, field, interaction policy, and access method.

Can observations be localized by market and device?

Supported search and browser products expose documented country, device, language, and request-context controls. Exact city, ASN, viewport, session, geography, and source behavior are tested before entering the production brief.

Which campaign-observation fields can be delivered?

Depending on scope, records can include advertiser, visible creative copy and assets, CTA, placement, sponsored state, query, rank, publisher, public-post fields, visible counters, configured links, redirect evidence, final host, requested context, source URL, timestamp, artifact, identity state, and quality state.

Can screenshots and creative assets be retained?

Supported browser workflows can return screenshots or rendered outputs. Artifact type, retention, access, deletion, and permitted downstream use belong in the data contract; collection does not grant creative reuse rights.

Can landing pages and redirect chains be checked?

Exposed links and approved redirect behavior can be captured when technically feasible. Link extraction remains distinct from active navigation. Ad clicks, forms, installs, purchases, and conversion events are excluded by default.

Can this data measure campaign performance or attribution?

No. Public observations can complement first-party media data but do not expose complete impressions, reach, clicks, spend, conversions, revenue, auction mechanics, human attention, or attribution truth.

Can WebScrapingAPI detect fraud or certify compliance?

WebScrapingAPI can collect agreed signals and package rules-based anomalies with their evidence. It does not issue accredited fraud, invalid-traffic, brand-safety, legal, regulatory, or policy determinations.

How are privacy and intellectual-property boundaries handled?

Production scope is limited to approved public data and documented uses. Private accounts and unnecessary personal data are excluded. Creative, copy, images, and platform content remain subject to applicable rights, source terms, retention rules, and customer-approved use.

How fresh is the data, and can history be delivered?

APIs return an observation when called. Scheduled programs use an agreed cadence by source and decision. History begins when recurring collection begins unless a separately validated historical source is included. Every observation retains its capture time.

Who maintains the workflow when a source changes?

Proxy customers maintain their collection stack. API customers maintain downstream extraction, creative matching, path logic, schedules, and campaign rules while WebScrapingAPI maintains the documented API layer. WebScrapingAPI maintains contracted connectors, extraction, quality monitoring, source-change work, and delivery for scheduled or managed programs.
